February 19, 2007 - DateMonthYear is to team up with the Trust Bank Waikato Symphony Orchestra for an out door festival gig on the 25th February 2007.
Spokesperson Trevor Faville explains “DateMonthYear has done this once before in 2004 for a large style gig at the Mystery creek venue, and it worked well enough that we jumped at the chance to do it again”
The show is called Sunset Symphony and is part of the Hamilton Gardens Arts Summer Festival (http://www.hamiltongardens.co.nz/).
DateMonthYear (blue) will perform versions of old favourites Ghost2, Riverdragon as well as Asleep from the forthcoming pot/kettle/black CD.
The live version of DateMonthYear has recently returned to the live scene and has a busy year of gigs planned. Plans are afoot to record the orchestral versions of these songs later in the year.
