The Helios features a thermal imaging core is capable of viewing in total darkness and providing vision assistance through; smoke, light clouds, and even rain. The complete Helios system is priced at $5949.00 making it the most affordable EVS on the market.
The Helios is positioned off of the wing surface in an aerodynamic carbon fiber pod, allowing the Helios to outperform other EVS units in both reduced interference and drag. The Helios is frame is composed of light weight chromoly providing a strong mounting platform. The Helios system includes all items needed including; aeropod, mounting frame, thermal imager, cabling, and seven inch high resolution screen.
The Helios thermal core is auto adjusting and requires zero maintenance. Additional features such as digital zoom, full color pallets, and adjustable gain levels offers unparalleled flexibility. The Helios is a great addition to any experimental or LSA.
