This new partnership enables Datacraft to address the widely acknowledged need among businesses for more efficient server utilisation and reduced datacenter footprint, in the face of mounting pressure to cut costs, reduce energy consumption, and minimise environmental impact.
According to Andy Cocks, Datacraft’s Director for Solutions and Alliance, datacenters in many Asian companies are getting increasingly crowded, as corresponding new servers are added, resulting in challenges such as limited floor space; inadequate server cooling; slow application provisioning; ineffective backup and disaster recovery and low server utilisation rates.
