March 20, 2008 - Knoxville, TN – After much collaboration with Randy Travis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Debbie Lee Carrington, DASH Networks Inc. is set to premiere their Damon & Stella Foundation For Mental Health public service announcements. The Knoxville based boutique production company is responsible for the production of the PSA’s from conception down to the final editing and every step in between. “It was such a labor of love for all of us at DASH, since we are at the root of conception for the foundation and believe heavily for what it stands for, conceptualizing and producing the PSA’s came naturally to us”, said Josh Gildrie, spokesperson for DASH Networks Inc.
The Damon & Stella Foundation, founded in 2006 by family survivors of suicide, is an alliance of artists and health care professionals dedicated to expanding our cultural awareness of mental health disease. With over 30,000 completed suicides in the United States each year, and with 250,000 to 790,000 estimated attempts, our aim is to draw attention to this crisis through aggressive communication, compasssion, and community campaigns.
