About Dancer’s Edge, Inc.
Jamie Rodriguez is the owner and Artistic Director of Dancer’s Edge, Inc. She opened the studio in 2001 at its current location in Winter Park. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance from Western Michigan University. She has danced at places all over the country including the Flint Ballet Theater, the Harkness House School of Ballet in New York, and Walt Disney World. “Miss Jamie”, as she’s known to her students, offers a wide variety of classes for dancers of all ages. She and her professional staff teach, among other things, ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and the Spanish dance of flamenco. Today she continues her studies in order to bring her students new and exciting opportunities from the world of dance. One of her recent learning experiences took her to Spain where she studied tango and bulerias (a form of flamenco) from dance master Ana Maria Lopez.
