Dancer Kenny Wormald Interviews With JigTV About Being On Dance Life And Gives Advice About Being A Dancer In Los Angeles

Kenny Wormald may not be as reputable of a choreographer as some of JigTV's other interviews, but he has a formidable dance background. Put into dance class after being caught dancing to "New Kids on the Block" to channel some of his excess energy, he has been dancing ever since. To his credit are being on MTV's Dance Life, in movies such as "You Got Served" and toured with Justin Timberlake

Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) May 15, 2009 - In his recent JigTV dancer interview, Kenny talked about the extensive screening process to be on Dance Life. Aside from a 600 multiple choice personality test, an applicant must also see a shrink and make sure they are clinically sane, yet still insane enough to be a dancer. Though there is a set schedule for the show, it still manages to be "real" without cameras in a dancer's face when they wake up in the morning.

When it comes to advice to the online dance community, Kenny reminds those moving to Los Angeles to expect the unexpected. It entails doing thousands of auditions and generally not getting a gig for a while. He tells aspiring dancers that even if you feel you nailed the interview, stupid things like skin tone, hair length, and height will effect a decision. Even if the audition is nailed that doesn't mean you will get the part and a dancer cant let that fact get you down.

The best Kenny Wormald can give is to continue taking class, like an online dance class, even when you are working. When you are in class jump to the front and do it just like the choreographer says to do it. Don't put your own twist on it until you are the choreographer, or unless the choreographer asks you to do it.
