April 22, 2008 - Senior officials for the Kentucky Derby announced today that NyghtFalcon Photography will be among the Official Photographers of the Kentucky Derby for the second year in a row. Dakota, Senior Photographer with NyghtFalcon Photography and Managing Director of the Firm’s Central Region, will be stationed at the first turn. The assignment is particularly complex since Dakota will be called upon to use two cameras simultaneously in order to fulfill the requirements of the assignment.
“This is an immense honor to be part of the Official Photography Corp of the Derby a second time,” said Dakota. In last year’s Derby Dakota was at the finish line.

Several of Dakota’s photos were included in the Official Commemorative Volume released by Churchill Downs last year.
