September 30, 2009 - Victoria, BC - DailySplice, creator of the Podcast Station multimedia manager for streaming audio and video web content, launched its brand new website on Monday, coinciding with the company’s second Birthday.
The 2007 start-up has made some key upgrades to its website. The largest addition is the company’s new automated buying feature. Customers can now sign-up, setup a podcast station, and start podcasting without having to call DailySplice.
“The automated service allows customers to quickly and easily set up a station and begin podcasting in minutes,” says CEO, Rian Bowden.
DailySplice has made it an important goal to make podcasting fast and easy for the non-technical user while providing a highly professional product. The company’s website reinvention was mainly to align its services with this mission.
"We want to make podcasting easy and simple for anyone," commented, Bowden. “Even if you’re a non-technical user, you can get our service up and running on your website in minutes.”
The automatic buying feature allows users to pick from 5 different podcasting services, depending on the customer’s bandwidth, branding and customization needs. Purchases through the new system are made through pay-pal.
In addition to the automatic buying feature, the website has other new improvements as well. The homepage and podcast directory has been redesigned for improved navigation, and "Why Podcast" and "Why Us" pages have been added to help new users understand podcasting and get started. For police and fire departments the website now has a separate section for “Podcasting for First Responders.”
The launch of new website coincided with DailySplice’s 2nd Birthday. Developing its podcasting technology into one of the most professional and easy-to-use podcasting services has been the company’s mission over the past two years. Now entering a new phase in its development the company hopes the new website will further drive its mission, and help make podcasting simple, fast, and effective for all if its users.
