Angela Daffron is trained in traditional marketing and has led marketing departments in a variety of industries. A few years ago as social media began, she recognized the marketing opportunities quickly and began participating and teaching herself the language and coding of the new medium.
Daffron Marketing came into existence in an effort to allow Angela the time freedom to fulfill a mission to increase awareness in the crime of stalking and the legislation surrounding it after the death of a family friend, Jodi Sanderholm. Jodi was 19 years old when she was stalked and murdered in a small town in Kansas.
Angela utilized social media to gain the media exposure and public awareness necessary to change legislation. She began working with Twitter in 2007 to promote Jodi%u2019s Voice. Interactions on Twitter allowed Angela to secure media exposure with NBC Nightly News, ABC Nightly News, Today Show, Fox News, CNN and Discovery Channel.
