March 15, 2007 - Cuban Babe better known as La Perla Negra (The Black Pearl) debuts with La Perla Negra. This album includes a Hip Hop, Salsa, and Reggaeton infused for the most part with Cuban rythms.
The overtone of the album is characterized by a fun feminist flaire. Songs like "Las Pepillas" "Papaya", and "Stupid boy" empower women and makes a commentary on how Reggaeton portrays woman in many of their videos and songs.
Cuban Babe shot two videos within a week for the songs "Stupid boy" and "Las Pepillas". Both of these are available at Youtube.com
A CD Release party will take place in Los Angeles in early April.
