November 06, 2009 - JACKSONVILLE, FL - CSI Tech’s Healthcare IT division was selected (out of a pool of 28 national firms) by Grady Health System in Atlanta to provide implementation and activation support for a $40 million Epic Systems inpatient and ambulatory electronic health records, admissions, patient tracking and billing software conversion.

During the 18-24 month project, CSI Tech will provide implementation specialists and application coordinators for the Epic conversion. In addition, the firm will continue to assist with Grady’s ongoing internal IT needs, including providing infrastructure engineers who are laying the foundation for this large scale conversion project.
This partnership comes on the heels of a recent announcement from National Healthcare IT Coordinator Dr. David Blumenthal citing that the healthcare industry will need at least 50,000 new healthcare IT professionals to support the transition to electronic medical records. As this need grows, CSI Tech is well positioned to provide healthcare organizations with a proven network of HIT consultants nationwide to offset this shortage of talent.
