May 28, 2009 - The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total five-year contract value to $36 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will replace existing visa processing software with a new fully integrated suite of applications. The modernized system will improve visa operations both domestically and at embassies around the globe, and support immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing.

CSC began working with the DoS in 1991 and has performed services in 14 different bureaus. These services include the installation of telephone systems, program management and refugee processing on a worldwide basis.
