April 18, 2008 - LOS ANGELES - The luxury cruise ship Crystal Serenity has once again been awarded ‘The World’s Best Large Luxury Ship’ by Fielding’s Guide to Luxury Cruises. The annual award saw the six-star Crystal Serenity receive the top honor for the fourth consecutive year.
The 1,080 passenger Crystal Serenity achieved the impressive result due to an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction. With an overall score of 94.7 it ranked higher than every other luxury cruise ship in the World, regardless of size, with the exception of the boutique German ship, MS Europa, which received the award in the medium sized category.
Crystal Serenity came out on top due to high scores for food and dining, crew and service, entertainment, facilities and activities, cabins, shore excursions as well as design and layout.
