A gameboard and marbles, a rulebook and one die, added to about 20 minutes of your time will have you a great game. Just be ready to invest another 20 minutes, because you can’t stop at just one game!” she said.
Cross Over took home the Gold when the panel of judges agreed that this game, while offering a lot of fun for the money, also had hidden math reinforcement principles built in. “Children will strengthen their basic math skills and not even notice!” Traci Hardin exclaimed. “We just could not let this one pass us by without awarding them for a job well done. Everyone who has encountered the game and tried it, has enthusiastically agreed that Cross Over is a great addition to the family game table.” She added.
When asked what she found unique about the game, Traci commented “The game is played on a gameboard, using marble markers. Players roll the die and play is determined by the number rolled. Each number has its own set of play rules. Just when you think you have a good strategy in place, the roll of the die changes everything. The player who ‘loses their marbles’ first – Wins! Each play adds a new spin and you can never determine the outcome until the last move is played.”
