April 01, 2008 - Formerly Coco’s Ice Cream and Mini-Golf, the new location will continue operation as a nine-hole miniature golf course but will now serve Crescent Ridge Dairy’s 31 flavors of ice cream and five flavors of frozen yogurt as a way to cool down before, during and after a round on the links.
“Opening up additional Dairy Bars is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time but it was a matter of the right opportunity and the right location,” said Mark Parrish, president and third generation of the Parrish family to run Crescent Ridge Dairy. “Operationally, the Holbrook location fit all our criteria and, as an added bonus, gives me a place to practice my short game.”
Offering both drive through and walk-in service, the store will also sell frappes, ice cream cakes, sundaes, pies, Crescent Ridge Dairy’s whole, 1%, 2% and non-fat milk, eggs, juice and steamed hot dogs.
The new location will be in operation on August 11, with a grand opening planned for later in the summer. The new store will be open year round, with summer hours from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“We look at this new location as more than an opportunity to bring our delicious brand of ice creams and frozen yogurts to a new market, but to create a fun place where families can spend an hour or two of quality time,” said Parrish.
Besides its “Dairy Bar” in Sharon and the new location in Holbrook, Crescent Ridge Dairy provides home delivery of all natural, rBST hormone-free whole, 1% and 2% milk, award-winning ice cream and more than 150 other top quality food items to more than 100 communities in the Boston area.
