August 20, 2007 - Kelowna BC, Canada – TechYou Digital Media today announced the release of Schema Wrangler, a new extension for Flash that will save Flash Developers hours of time and effort without the fear of debugging schema related errors.
Following the successful launch of Arbitrator Pro, Schema Wrangler is TechYou Digital Media's initial offering from their Wrangler Suite of Flash Tools and Extensions.

Bowman explains: "Flash needs the field names and field types structured into the "Schema" portion of its Remoting Connector from each database table you want to connect to. Looking up all the values in your selected table and generating the required schema by hand can take a considerable amount of time. For each schema item you wish to interact with, you once again - by hand - have to generate a table of bindings. For a complex table, it can take up to an hour or more to complete these two steps with lots of room for errors. This can be a daunting task for a seasoned Flash developer and a total nightmare for the graphic designer trying to get the most from Flash."
With a “Wrangled Schema”, Flash Developers and Designers can switch between databases and tables without going back and removing any schemas or bindings information they may have just created. “Schema Wrangler makes the change for you from the same on-click-operation,” states Bowman. “This allows you to change your mind on the fly without any worry that something got missed.” The most exciting thing for designers is they don’t have to write a single line of ActionScript code.
