  • San Antonio, TX (1888PressRelease) March 28, 2014 - Frank "Sandy" Ingersoll, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of California-Berkeley, enjoyed a standout baseball career in college. However, injuries in his senior year ended his aspirations to play profession baseball. Mr. Ingersoll then shifted his attention to business, starting out with IBM in San Francisco, California. After four successful years his passion led him to an abrupt career change landing a position with the prestigious investment firm, Oppenheimer & Company. This step launched him into a 40-year career in various aspects of portfolio management, research, and investment banking.

By 1990, Mr. Ingersoll had his own investment firm, KRI Growth Stocks, which specialized in research on early stage developing companies (later called "Penny Stocks"). His company enjoyed great success for several years by assisting these companies gain market exposure through timely research and assistance in obtaining growth capital to develop new products. Unfortunately, KRI was closed down by the NASD for rules violations. Mr. Ingersoll vehemently opposed NASD charges, but to no avail as the NASD had already determined to close down all the firms supporting Penny Stocks.

Mr. Ingersoll closed his firm in 1995 to pursue writing and Christian ministry. He's written two novels, 'Inner Limits I' and 'Inner Limits II', and continues his writing primarily on biblical principles of finance and business.

Most recently, Mr. Ingersoll and his son Ryan founded SRI Diversified Capital. Mr. Ingersoll and Ryan became enamored with the investment opportunities offered by the Eagle Ford oil and gas shale play, located just southeast of San Antonio.

SRI Diversified Capital is working with two small oil operating companies as a consultant in both promoting their operations and raising essential drilling funds through the sale of "working interests" in their wells. Their clients have already successfully completed four wells in the Eagle Ford shale with three of them highly profitable and several more being prepared for funding.

Mr. Ingersoll explained, "Investors receive huge tax deduction benefits, up to 82% in the initial year invested, and can expect monthly cash flow for the next 20-30 years that can range from a 10% annual to over a 50% annual return on initial investment with 15% being tax free due to the oil depletion allowance."
