Covington Who's Who Selects Deborah Lynne Frederick as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Deborah Lynn Frederick's commitment to excellence in Education.
Frederick, who studied early childhood and disabilities at Great Bay University, began working in the field of education in 1994 as a bus driver for a Head Start program in Wyoming.
Having since taken on the role as a paraprofessional, she has learned the importance of helping students use their skills both within the classroom and out in the community. She learns to make modifications for students with intellectual disabilities and those on the autism spectrum by reinforcing and using positive reinforcement. She also takes notes and feeds and changes the handicapped students.
"I know how to tell if a child is in a bad mood and how to defuse a bad attitude," Frederick said about her students.
Frederick is a Girl Scouts of America leader. She also volunteers her time with the Blind Association and has volunteered with the Special Olympics for the past five years. She is the recipient of an award through the Big Brother Big Sister program, a non-profit organization where she has been involved for the past six years.
