It is the ambition of the COTW crew, “To give blacktop basketball-players worldwide the possibility to represent their favorite courts and to team up with the like-minded around the globe".
Users will not only get the chance to upload and view content such as videos, images and comments but they will be able to list their favorite courts and represent by supplying own content for these courts. You can find world famous streetball-courts, such as New York´s Rucker Park, with a detailed area map, a 3-day weather forecast, a list of local ballers and a lot of videos and images. The link to a community provides the opportunity to connect to local scenes across the world, additionally a blog feature provides informations on interdisciplinary topics.
A very special feature is called the ‚Court Finder’, where users can search for streetball courts in their area. By entering a city or postal code the five closest courts are displayed on a map, accompanied with the distance in miles and kilometers. COTW is an exciting approach to connect globally and to give ballers the chance to represent their home-scene and skills to the world.
