Coreland Companies Negotiates $2.8 Million Lease For New Washington Mutual In Santa Fe Springs, Calif.

Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif. has negotiated a 10-year, 5,000-square-foot lease valued at approximately $2.8 million for Washington Mutual to occupy a new free-standing building to be constructed on a pad at the Santa Fe Springs Plaza in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., which is expected to open in the fourth quarter 2008.


Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) February 25, 2008 - Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif., one of the largest real estate service companies based in California, announced it has negotiated a 10-year, 5,000-square-foot lease valued at approximately $2.8 million for Washington Mutual to occupy a new free-standing building to be constructed on a pad at the Santa Fe Springs Plaza in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., which is anchored by Food 4 Less.

Washington Mutual, Inc. (NYSE:WM), one of the nation's leading banks for consumers and small businesses, is expected to open in the fourth quarter 2008.

“Chain retailers and tenants are still looking for quality sites and this is a great example,” says Steven Hogberg, Senior Vice President Leasing/Sales. “WAMU executed a lease for a prime pad in this busy, well located neighborhood center represented by Coreland Companies.”

Coreland Companies is the exclusive real estate representative for Santa Fe Springs Plaza, a, 180,000-square-foot shopping center located at the northeast corner of Carmenita Road and Telegraph Road in Santa Fe Springs. Matt Hammond of Coreland Companies represented the landlord, Carmenita Plaza, LLC. Washington Mutual, which was represented by Heather Myers of CB Richard Ellis of Anaheim, Calif., will join tenants Food 4 Less and DD’s Discount.
