    The complex is a highly innovative initiative by Lord Diljit Rana, a leading United Kingdom businessman, to bring university level education to a rural community in the Punjab. It was established in July 2004, inaugurated in August 2006 by the then President of India, Dr Abdul Kalam, and is affiliated to Panjabi University, Patiala.

This institute is the latest addition to the institutes of Cordia Educational Complex, at Sanghol Distt Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab and will be opened on the 28th of April by Mr. Andrew Jackson, Counsellor, Knowledge Economy, British High Commission, India.
