  • (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2014 - Control Devices Australia will showcase French manufacturer APEM's range of PCB and panel mounted switches, LED indicators and custom switch panel design capabilities at the Electronex exhibition, being held at the Australian Technology Park, Sydney, on 10 and 11 September.

Now in its 5th year, Electronex is Australia's only dedicated expo and conference for the electronics industry, where designers, managers, engineers, technicians, manufacturers and system integrators can discuss their specific requirements with industry experts and see, test and compare the latest products and solutions to help them in their business.

Control Devices - located at stand B22 - will display APEM's full range of pushbutton (including the PCB mounted switches from its Danish subsidiary MEC), toggle, rocker, piezo, capacitive, keylock, emergency-stop, slide, DIP, DIP coded rotary, pushwheel, tactile and snap action micro switches. It will also present APEM accessories including toggle switch guards and sealing boots for their toggle, pushbutton and rocker switches.

APEM has the largest range of panel mount LED indicators in the market, and their Q series (professional grade), QS series (plastic snap-in) and QRM series (rear mount) LED indicators will be showcased. Information on the latest extensions to these ranges (custom wire lengths, custom wires and gauge, custom wire terminations, infrared LEDs, increased voltages ranges, the use of zener diodes and voltage regulators, engraved flush LEDs, secret-til-lit legends, epoxy filled bezels) will also be presented.

A selection of APEM's joysticks, including their Hall effect thumb controls (TS series thumbstick, CW, TW and HR series hall effect thumbwheels), fingertip Hall effect (3000 and HT series) and resistive joysticks (M series), fingertip switch-based joysticks (HS series, 1000 and 8000 series), SN series Hall effect T bar fader controller, BF series single axis Hall effect paddle controllers, and panel mount and desktop trackballs (DT225, L and LP series) will complete the APEM exhibit.

Control Devices will also be showcasing a range of electronic industrial sensors and controls from its other European suppliers Seika (inclinometers, accelerometers), Lika (encoders), Ditel (temperature regulators, panel meters, human machine interfaces), EFE (pressure sensors), Penny + Giles (linear and rotary position sensors, joysticks) and Gill Sensors (capacitive liquid level sensors, inductive position sensors).
