April 21, 2008 - Calgary, Alberta - The Directors of the Corporation are pleased to announce the launch of a new product, the 4d Phone for Skype. The 4d Phone doubles as a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone using the Skype interface, and a standard telephone.
The 4d Phone is an easy to use, multi-functional phone. A simple mouse-click initiates peer-to-peer calls on the Skype network. The Skype Gateway Feature of the 4d Phone allows one to receive calls through Skype, using a selected Telco or an analog PBX extension. Choose to have Skype forwarded to a home or mobile phone. Call your Skype address from any computer anywhere in the world, and remotely place calls using the PSTN line connected to the 4d Phone. Transfer all regular telephone calls to a Skype account on another computer.
Several other features of the 4d Phone include last number dial, automatically place Skype calls on hold while switching to PSTN line mode, speed number dialing, and call recording in PSTN mode.
