The facility will become the fifth data center located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area and one of seven in the U.S. In a recent national study by The Boyd Co., Dallas ranks 35th in the nation as the most cost-effective and operationally secure location for data centers due to its real estate market, insulation from floods and hurricanes, its airport, technical labor force, and its short distance from either coast.

The new data center, dubbed Dallas IV, will be housed within the world-famous Infomart building, just North of Downtown Dallas, along with three other sister Dataside facilities.
