His baroque approach to contemporary classical composition sets the dramatic tone for the award winning series starring Julianna Margulies and Josh Charles. Buckley is submitting his music for Emmy consideration for the first time in the series' history. As the characters have developed in the fifth season, so has Buckley's music.     Buckley's musical ability traverses virtually every medium or genre. Whether for blockbuster video games or Oscar® nominated films, he remains a purist to his classical orchestral approach. His ability to create perennial compositions has led to collaborations with today's leading filmmakers including Ridley and Tony Scott, Joel Schumacher, Rob Minkoff, Luc Besson and Taylor Hackford. In addition to scoring Ben Affleck's The Town, he recently contributed additional music to David O. Russell's American Hustle. His music has also set the tone for some of the video game industry's most successful titles, including Call of Duty: Ghost and the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight.

    David Buckley was destined for a life in music. He was a choirboy performing on Peter Gabriel's score for Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ. After graduating from Cambridge University, Buckley moved to London and began a successful career writing music for TV shows and commercials. In 2006, he relocated to Los Angeles and began collaborating with award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams writing additional music for films including Shrek the Third and The Number 23. In addition to Parker and The Town, Buckley's recent film scores include From Paris with Love, Book of Dragons, and Gone. David was recognized as a "Brit To Watch" by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and has been the recipient of five BMI Awards. He is currently scoring the drama-thriller A Bit of Bad Luck, in theaters later this year.
