February 22, 2007 - Comic Collector Live is still being tested, yet it has already ammassed 10 thousand users and counting. The launch of this totally new and revolutionary free software is set for early March with the full version due out in April.
The complete Comic Collector Live version will allow users to organize, track, appraise, and then buy and sell-- kind of like eBAY meets E-Trade for comic book enthusiasts.
Originator of the software, Joe Butler, says the interest is expected to explode as the software is set to be marketed at the NY Comic Con and then in millions of issues of MARVEL comics starting with the March issues.
"We have an active community on our website and people will be able to use the website to eventually buy comics-- but users of the software will be able to do just about anything including buying and selling within the membership base," says Butler. " Its an incredible tool for organizing, but with all the bells and whistles it also allows users to track issues by author, inker, event and more. They can build a wish list and then be notified when the exact issue they are seeking goes up for sale."
When the full fledged marketing kicks in and the community beta is offered, Comic Collector Live expects somewhere between 100 thousand and 200 thousand users of this software before the complete LIVE MARKET is launched in the spring.
