The First Annual Community Family Carnival has four main objectives:
To bring local families, schools, and businesses together by hosting a fun, educational, and low-cost family event that will foster a better relationship between its community.
To introduce Champions Learning Institute which was developed to address the first five years of a child's life. They will be accepting lottery applications for the fall of 2007. Space is limited.
To celebrate and showcase the diversity of interests, talents, and cultural backgrounds within the community.
To establish the carnival as a lasting tradition and as a legacy left by H. Walton Inc..
For parents who are interested in the application process, an Introduction to Champions Learning institute segment will be followed by a question-and-answer session with representatives from the admissions office.
Come Share five days of fun with family and friends at our carnival were it's as fun for grown-ups as it is for kids'!
Members of the H. Walton Inc. as well as the San Juan Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Home and School Club of the San Juan School have planned the community carnival.
