September 12, 2009 - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has announced the availability of its color video quad processor supporting both PAL and NTSC modes. It conducts motion detection using 48 areas and a 256-level sensitivity.
The color video quad processor, model 204/01B, uses image compression and digital processing technologies to compress a number of images, and it can be used for both live video and VCR recording. In terms of video, it supports both PAL mode and NTSC mode, with four BNC inputs and one BNC output.For recording, it has one BNC/S-VHS input and one BNC/S-VHS output.
The video processor has alarms based on video loss, video motion and external events; the alarm duration is adjustable from 0s to 30s. It supports on-screen and recorded display of date and time.
The quad processor provides display several display modes including sequence switch, single picture, quad picture, PiP, freeze-frame and zoom. This video multiplexer is equipment with a RS232 or RS485 interface.
