February 05, 2008 - Nashville, TN -- Coastal Vacations Platinum Director Jay NaPier is blowing the whistle on cross marketing schemes to piggy back on the reputation of Coastal Vacations.
NaPier told us, "Coastal Vacations 14 year track record has become very attractive to cross marketers who are marketing brand new programs like Platinum One Destinations, which is still in a pre-launch and Global resorts network, which is about one year old. While all three offer a travel product, only Coastal Vacations has the extensive, 14 year track record that is so critical to success." said NaPier.
While each company has it's benefits, NaPier is most concerned with Platinum One Destinations. "I originally noticed an issue with the P1D transition from CSG. A payment link showed Inter-Continental Travel as the payee for the P1D Membership Purchase. A quick Google search showed that Inter-continental was Platinum Travel Club and went out of business in 2006. Owners of P1D spent a year selling pharmaceutical websites, but what is ever more concerning comes from recent phone calls I've been getting."
"I've recently been in touch with former Platinum Travel Club members who bought into a marketing program with a guaranteed return. The way it worked, if you stuck with it for six months and you didn't make a profit, the company would return your investment, but the company went out of business and returned NO Money!"
The key to any successful mlm company, which is what Platinum One Destinations claims to be, is for the company to stay in business. The very large investment required to participate in the p1d payplan, combined with the fact that the company collects all the money is a big concern. "The reputation of the owners of Platinum One Destinations is a big concern. Since they didn't pay out on the Platinum Travel Club members, odds are that they don't know how to run an mlm company and that they might just take the money and run." Said NaPier.
Platinum One Destinations has gotten it's initial fuel for it's launch by partnering with Synergy Marketing Group (formerly Coastal Synergy Group) who also has a reputation of greed, indecisiveness, and the lack of a long term plan. By simply closing their system and co-creating the new business, they've put many of their members in a financial bind, which has required them to stick with Synergy.
Global Resorts Network, on the other hand is a much better option than P1d but the product lack real value. The membership only has 5000 resorts worldwide and considering the backing company is over 21 year old there should be more resorts for your $3000 investment.
"Global Resorts Network has some of the same benefits that Coastal Vacations has, but Coastal Vacations has over 75,000 resorts and over 30 taxes only vacations. When you compare the 5000 resorts to the 75,000 resorts the obvious choice is the 14 year proven track record with Coastal Vacations. Many who have joined GRN have done so out of greed. The pay plan is very attractive to marketers who get $1000 commission for their own sale and $1000 commission on their team members sales."
Global Resorts Network and Platinum One Destinations both have a pay struction where the company pays their reps, instead of the rep actually being more than just a rep. With Coastal Vacations the directors own their own business. They collect the retail sales and then simply forward the wholesale cost to the shipping center for shippment.
