Clinicians, Scientists And Patients Look To Bridge The Gap Between Diabetes Management And Exercise At Upcoming Event

This year’s conference will unite scientists, clinicians and patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes in a forum of up-to-date lectures and workshops. Education coupled with social and physical activities will provide a unique opportunity to share up-to-date techniques for enhancing both diabetes management and exercise or sports performance at all levels.


(1888PressRelease) May 13, 2009 - Leading clinicians, scientists, and diabetic patients will meet at the annual DESA North American Conference on June 25-28, 2009 in Boston, MA to share current techniques for enhancing diabetes management and bridge the gap between diabetes and exercise.

This event will feature an opening reception at the world’s first and most respected diabetes care facility, Joslin Clinic, followed by two days of presentations from experts in the diabetes field as well as inspirational talks from professional and elite athletes who have learned to effectively manage their diabetes regimen.
