September 26, 2006 - CitySpace, an independent interior design company specialising in corporate workplace solutions highlighted their design and workplace solutions expertise in the Middle East market at the 5th CoreNet summit in Lisbon. The CoreNet summit, which specialises in corporate real estate management, addressed the business needs of member companies while keeping in mind career needs of individuals.
The event explored real estate perspectives in Europe and its expanding activities with other cultures & regions. Eastern Europe and Middle East were the main focus for business activity with emphasis placed on connecting cultures and blurring border lines through language, common business interests & strategic visions.
Representing the Middle East, CitySpace reiterated that UAE has reached an international level in the field of Ergonomics and Interior Design. Jon Steiner, Executive Director of CitySpace, was one of the top speakers at the summit which was attended by over 90 international firms gathered under one roof to discuss corporate culture and commercial climate in different parts of the world. Jon Steiner represented the Middle East and its workplace environment in his speech designed to educate people on Workplace Strategies in Dubai and the region. The key topic of vacancy rate was also mentionned and encouraged multiple questions from the professionals in the industry and potential businesses looking at settling in the region.
A strong believer in the correlation between employee productivity, ergonomics and the quality of the workplace, Jon promoted the fact that a well-designed workplace enhances a company’s image by reinforcing its corporate identity and has a positive impact on the way people collaborate and work. His clients are always encouraged to focus on designs that are based around human interaction, creative freedom and physical comfort.
Industries across Europe who view the Middle East as a market of new opportunities learnt how to meet the challenges of establishing a regional presence and operating in this dynamic market based on the expertise & experience of Jon’s work on CitySpace projects.
With companies growing into multinational firms and market borders being erased, there is a growing need to develop an understanding of corporate work environments around the world and the strategic solutions required to adapt to it. CitySpace, with more than 10 years experience in assisting firms to acclimatize themselves with the work environment of the Middle East, shared these invaluable keys with organizations worldwide.
