May 24, 2006 - Cincom Systems and Pilgrim Software today announced an expanded partnership agreement whereby Cincom will market and sell Pilgrim’s SmartSolve® and Q&MIS® solutions to manufacturing companies. The offerings will be sold as Cincom Compliance and Cincom Quality Management Solutions.
“We have been partnering with Pilgrim for many years, and have recognized the significant increase in the market demand for compliance and quality management solutions,” said Jerry Miller, managing director, Cincom Manufacturing Business Solutions. “Cincom is expanding an in-house Compliance and Quality Management (CQM) practice to align with our growth strategies and complement our existing solution portfolio aimed at the complex manufacturing market.”
Under this new practice, Cincom will become an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for SmartSolve® and market the Q&MIS® and SmartSolve® products to its current and new customers in complex manufacturing industries such as aerospace, defense and industrial products manufacturing. Cincom and Pilgrim originally initiated a cooperative marketing agreement in December 1998, under which Cincom was permitted to resell Pilgrim’s Q&MIS® software. Under the newest agreement, Cincom worldwide will be permitted to sell both the Q&MIS® solutions and SmartSolve® suite.
