November 14, 2007 - William Hay's novel, The Originals, is the latest release of Chronicler Publishing a Canadian publisher of Canadian historical novels.
The Originals is a graphic chronicling of the Canadians in World War I, especially of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry's contribution to the war in the battles in France and Belgium.
Mr. Hay's writing is intense and stark and portrays the life of the average soldier with accuracy. He tells the story through the senses of Bill Dawson, a veteran of the Boer War that took place earlier in the century.
