Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease)
February 07, 2008 - Christian Rites of Passage, a 12-month leadership program, launched its official web site offering electronic fellowship and information at the click of a mouse.
The site details the program’s history and features the founder, committee members, participants and session highlights. In addition, the online press room keeps visitors up-to-date and includes press releases, monthly newsletters and event photos. Statistics about the program’s success and criteria for sponsorship can also be found online.
“We are overjoyed and extremely excited about the launch of the web site”, said founder Ida R. Crook. “The site is the perfect vehicle to showcase our amazingly talented students and also gives the Christian Rites of Passage the opportunity to share our accomplishments with the world.”
Thirty-five Atlanta youth in 10th and 11th grades participate in the 2007-2008 cycle. Every month, students take part in educational sessions, cultural activities and community-service projects. After transitioning through the 12 Christian Rites of Passage program, the youth will participate in the culminating event, which is a Christian Debutante & Beau Recognition Celebration Ball. Students are formally introduced to families, friends and esteemed civic leaders as beacons of Christian leadership.
