August 29, 2007 - Cast your votes! Out of many nominations, the Christian Meditation and Relaxation website, made its way to the final six nominees for the Best Holistic and Healthy Living website sponsored by Black Web Awards.
For the first time, The Christian Meditator website makes it on the prestigious list. The website, that sells Christ-centered meditation CDs, was created by Rhonda Jones, author and former elementary school teacher. Ms. Jones started Christian Meditation and Relaxation to help Christians who battled with worry and negative thoughts after meditation integrated with the scriptures helped her overcome years of depression. “The CDs encourage believers to ‘be still and get to know God’ by abiding in his presence and being saturated with His Word,” said Jones. “They are also a great tool for Christians who want a deeper relationship with God or want to hear God’s voice more clearly.” Jones stated that her company will soon be expanding their product line to include more Bible meditations, Christian affirmation products, and a membership-based service. She just recently began an affiliate program.
First launched in Spring 2006, Black Web Awards, scouts the world to find the most popular websites in over 50 categories from best Black Blog to the Most Original site. Last year, Black America Web received over 5000 nominations and 118,000 votes from over 80 countries. Of the many entries, Black Web Awards selects and then posts the best websites under each category based on 10 criteria.
