January 25, 2008 - WILLIAMSBURG, VA, USA - Salted Websites has come up with a fresh new idea of making websites for its customers. After years in the design business, the owner of Salted Websites came across too many churches and small Christian businesses that simply couldn't afford a completely custom-made website built from scratch. So along came the idea for Salted Websites.
Salted Websites are professionally designed, "ready-made" websites that can be customized for each individual customer. These websites are not to be confused with template websites, which are simply website files that require the customer to have all the knowledge to put them together and upload them to the web. Salted Websites is different in that the website is ready to go on the web, but only needs the customization, such as the customer's logo, page names, and colors to be complete. This customization is done completely by a professional designer from Salted Websites, which means the customer is not required to have any knowledge in developing websites.
After this customization is complete, the customer is given "the keys" to the website. Each website comes with the ability for the customer to quickly and easily edit the text directly on the website themselves. It's as easy as writing an email. This saves the customer from having to pay monthly maintenance fees for making minor text updates to their website.
Salted Websites wanted to give it's customers a real option to obtain a professionally designed website at an affordable price. By significantly reducing the amount of time in the design, development and maintenance of a website, they feel they have done just that.
