He came to public attention in 1995, producing his sister Juanita's single 'Mind Blowin', recorded when she was fourteen. He became CEO of the music and entertainment group TUG (The Ultimate Group) that is home to artists including Omarion, Marques Houston, Mila J, and NLT.
Chris Stokes hosts a reality show "I Wanna Be a Star", whose episodes appear on Youtube. The goal is to select the next "superstar", but unlike most competitions, this show will have 4 winners: 1 rapper, 1 singer, 1 dancer, and 1 actor or actress.
