Steve- What do you think about Street Scene this year?

Chris- It was like a riot out there. Kids were going nuts. It was very cool.

Steve - Any bands in particular you might check out at Street Scene this year?

Chris- I want to see Queens of the Stone Age, but I’m going to have a shower and get on a plane.

Steve - Where are you headed off to?

Chris- We’re headed off to Lallapalooza tomorrow in Chicago.

Steve - What do you think about artists using the internet to promote their music?

Chris- It’s an interesting question. I personally think it’s a really good thing. You can go out and see a band or hear about a band, and you can just find out about them so easily. Me personally, I’ll look up people and stuff on the internet, but I’ll still go to the shop and buy the actual record, and check out the artwork and everything. You know when I was growing up I would use my brother and their friends to find out about bands. If someone is an only child they can use the internet to find out about new music.

Steve - What are some hot Australian bands out there right now?

Chris- I really love this new album coming out by Wolf and Cub, which are good friends of ours. They’re fantastic, psychedelic awesome driving music. It kinda sits somewhere between Primal Scream and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It’s very cool. And Tucker Bee’s. We just did a tour with them. They’re another really cool Australian band. The Presets, they’re a fantastic two piece electro. I don’t know, there’s a lot of good music in Australia.
