Indie TV Producers entered into a distribution agreement with Spellcasters, Inc. in May 2008 for a 3 year contract to produce 40 shows each season which would air daily Prime Time on the Total Hip Hop TV on the Global Broadcasting Company line-up package of seven thematic-TV channels via the KabelKiosk platform. Global Broadcasting Company was responsible for procuring all commercial spots with indie TV producers receiving revenue from their shows beginning 30 days from launch date. Global Broadcasting Company released over eight different press releases announcing the launch date each time a later date going back as far as June 2008. All submitted episodes remain in the possession of Global Broadcasting Company or its affiliates.
Countless episodes, over a year and a half later and millions due not to one but to several indie TV producers as well, Global Broadcasting Company has taken a stand of no responsibility to honor the contract, pay for cost of on-going production, nor honor their responsibility to air the shows leaving several indie TV producers in a fight to maintain credibility as well as survive in a time when such a fraudulent hit is crippling and could even be the demise of their business.
