ShamRock n' Roll is the Charmer's first home bout of the season and will give the team a chance to showcase some of Charmers' newest skaters. "We've got a lot of new faces this season," said General Manager Dana Wolfe, "We're looking forward to giving Charmers fans a chance to see our newest skaters in action, right here in their home rink in Orange Park." The March 22nd bout will be the first-bout-ever for a handful of eager, "fresh meat" junior roller derby skaters.

The Cherry Bomb Charmers will take on the Ocala Carnivores for ShamRock n' Roll on March 22nd, and the Charmers' management couldn't be happier about the chance to strengthen the relationship between the two teams. "Like us, the Carnivores are a newer team on the junior derby scene," Wolfe said, "We're growing together and we're looking forward to our skaters forming solid friendships with their Ocala derby sisters and brothers."

The goal of the Cherry Bomb Charmers junior roller derby team is to encourage young skaters to realize their full potential and to empower them to become courageous young women, radiating confidence on and off the track. As a Charmer, junior derby skaters learn lifelong team-building skills. Skaters learn strength and independence, all the while celebrating their own individuality and unique identity in an atmosphere of sisterhood and family-like stewardship.
