July 15, 2008 - Sageworks Inc., the developer of ProfitCents, announced today that Charles Tzinberg, managing member of Tzinberg, Goldenberg & Dowdy, a Stone Carlie Company, and a senior member of Stone Carlie & Company, L.L.C, has been named to the company’s CPA Advisory Board. Members of the advisory board serve as external advisors to the management team and the company’s board of directors to help identify, launch and develop improvements to current products as well as provide strategic direction to new ventures.Tzinberg brings a unique perspective to the Advisory Board; with thirteen years of experience in retail businesses he is able to view situations from the perspective of a client - with the knowledge of a Certified Public Accountant. Tzinberg graduated from the University of Denver College of Business Administration with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1970, and then spent thirteen years managing supermarkets and other businesses before entering the accounting profession.
Subsequently, Mr. Tzinberg taught accounting at Southwestern Illinois College for two years, and is licensed as a CPA in both Illinois and Missouri. He also served as a member of the Advisory Board for Creative Solutions, Inc. Mr. Tzinberg frequently serves as a speaker for groups and organizations, including eleven years as a presenter for CSI at their annual users' conference. Mr. Tzinberg has also presented seminars for the Illinois State Bar Association and the Missouri Society of CPAs.
