November 21, 2007 - (Fraziers Bottom, WV) CEO and Founder of Tasty Blend Foods, Inc., Roy Elswick, purchases SNAK - TIME FOODS of NC, LLC. SNAK - TIME FOODS, located in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, is a manufacturer of processed sandwiches for foodservice and institutional markets.
Tasty Blend Foods, Inc. is the manufacturer of Teays Valley Mixes. Elswick, who owns and operates both companies as separate entities - does have plans for some joint ventures in the future. Elswick’s relationship with SNAK - TIME FOODS began in 2005 when Roy developed a foodservice biscuit mix for SNAK - TIME FOODS to use with all their biscuit sandwiches.
Elswick says that “this was a win-win situation, I was provided with an opportunity to further my business and grow another. I just couldn't pass it up.” “Tasty Blend makes the mix, SNAK - TIME makes the sandwiches and packages it - It’s a full service operation.”
Elswick has received many awards for Sales Achievements, Customer Service and Appreciation, Dry Mix Vendors of the Year and is also recognized as an Honored Professional in the Who’s Who in Executives and Businesses, and has received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
