CENTER STAGE The Black Business Space Value Tour Launches New Internet Show On Blog Talk Radio

For Us by Us - Unique tour comprised of social network members launches internet radio show to showcase and connect community members, sponsors, as well as featured artists and institutions.

(1888PressRelease) August 12, 2008 - On Thursday, August 7, 2008, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, The Black Business Space Value Tour launched it's new internet radio show on NBBTA Radio Live! via the Master Griot Show on Blog Talk Radio. While massive technical difficulties with Blog Talk made the show less than anticipated, the camaraderie and excitement were clearly the show's entoxication.

The show is entitled CENTER STAGE. It is an up close and personal engagement with the members, referred to as FAM, of the BBS Value Tour (BBSVT) community who connect online and off-line.

The BBSVT is an entertainment and business development product that is for the community, made from the community. As an extension of the Black Business Space experience, The BBS Value Tour speaks to businesses' and artists' commitment to the community AND the community's (you, me, we) commitment to its businesses, institutions, and artists.

The special guest for the evening was BBSVT community member Big Check Ty, CEO of MBL Records. Jacqueline Taylor-Adams, the creator of the Black Business Space Value Tour stated, "Ty was simply phenomenal. He's doing some awesome things with a great pool of talent in the rap and R&B genres. He's truly a walking mentor that's producing quality and quantity. We made some great connects and most importantly, made commitments to support our artists, businesses, and one another."

The show bears a weekly format that will feature interviews with sponsors, featured artists, and community members interlaced with music from jazz to gospel to rock to hip hop. Next week, August 14, 2008 will feature community member, R&B sensation GINA GREEN.

The hosts with the most are Matata Rae (aka Sean Hall) the Talent Commission Chair for the tour and ArLena the ePublicist, BBSVT's Public Relations/Publicity Chair. The show periodically will feature guest hosts from the community and video & film reporters.

The BBS Value Tour states that the most important aspect of the show is its Fans. The fans will have the opportunity to vote and comment on their favorite music, video, artwork and guest for the week. Ms. Taylor-Adams continued by saying, "This type of activity bears great fruit when structured and is bore from a commitment to make a better community through positive purposed entertainment and economic development through support of our businesses and artists/entrepreneurs.

Artists are the storytellers of our culture and it is necessary that we, as African Americans, own our own art, so we can have a voice in the stories being told about us a people and the legacy we leave behind."

BBS is an acronym for Black Business Space, a program of the National Black Business Trade Association, Founder and CEO is Lee Green.

The features the National Black Theatre, the International DJ Trade Association, House of Umoja, and blog, Black In Time as institutions of the Black community.

The tour also showcases performance and visual artists. The featured artists are Brian O'Neal (Jazz), R&B: Melvin C.
