The publicity firm will be working with the Long Beach native to obtain coverage for Mr. G’s current projects through print, television, and electronic media.
Currently starring on MTV's “Celebrity Rap Superstar,” a competition featuring celebs competing in rap challenges, premiered on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT " Celebrity Rap Superstar," Is a live weekly series which pairs eight contestants with their own rap mentor (among them Tone Loc, Paul Wall and Warren G.) who will school them on technique they need to master the art form. For eight weeks the contestants from TV, film, music and sports, will perform covers of rap classics, create original rhymes and be tested in freestyle competitions before a live studio audience and an expert panel of judges. Following each week's performances the viewing audience will vote for their favorite contestant and the person with the least amount of votes will be eliminated until the rapper with the best skills is chosen as the winner.
Warren G exploded out of the burgeoning Long Beach rap scene in 1994 with the smash single "Regulate," a duet with longtime friend Nate Dogg, and its accompanying album, Regulate...G Funk Era. Through years of continued excellence, Warren G has attained iconic status in the world of Hip-Hop.
