Goldberg was appointed in January of 2012 as the gala's "Designer-Orchestrator" on the Board of Directors (New York Metro). This will be the first event Goldberg will orchestrate along with her celebrity design, raising better awareness and assistance with increasing sponsorships and orchestration of the gala. Night of Miracles is the nonprofit's most successful event of the year.
While the celebrity event designer is noted worldwide for her "innate" style of design, she doesn't skimp on details. The theme for this year's gala is "Old Hollywood" with glitz and glamour at this "Black Tie" affair. Samantha felt it wouldn't be the same unless we had actual "Hollywood Celebs" to join her on the incredible journey of celebrating children and community. You can expect to see many silver-screen mavens such as "Vinny Vella, Tony Darrow and Tony Ray Rossi all known for their roles in the HBO series of Soprano's and in movies such as Good Fellas and Casino to name a few". There may be quite a few celebrity sightings of various other celebs from TLC, Bravo and Style to name a few. On Tuesday April 24th the gates open as the general public will be allowed to bid on dining at the same table with their "Fav Mobster" or reality star. Goldberg has also been asked to be a celebrity table as well as her fan base from Style's Whose Wedding Is It Anyway is also parcipating. The bidding begins at double the ticket fee $350pp and all celeb tables begin at $700. 100% of the net procceds will go to United Way.
