July 01, 2006 - St. Louis, MO — Dr. Michelle Copeland, Harvard trained plastic surgeon, biochemist, and author of “Change Your Looks, Change Your Life,” a comprehensive guide to “quick fixes” and cosmetic surgery solutions for looking younger, feeling healthier, and living better, will appear in person at Soft Surroundings (www.softsurroundings.com) in St. Louis on May 12, 2006 for skin care product consultations and books signing. Dr. Copeland is the first woman to receive dual doctorate degrees from Harvard. She has a busy New York City practice, and she is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and she is an attending surgeon at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
As a member of the Medical Health Advisory Board for the Society for the Advancement of Women’s Health Research, Dr. Copeland advises Congress on health issues affecting women. She was recently profiled in Avenue Magazine’s "Women in the Sciences."
