July 10, 2008 - Cash Klemchuk Powers Taylor is pleased to welcome Katherine B. Bandy (“Katie”) to the Firm. In practice for four years, Ms. Bandy joins the litigation section as an associate with a practice focusing on commercial litigation. She has litigated a variety of cases representing clients in matters involving contracts, trade secrets, and professional negligence. Ms. Bandy earned a J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2004, and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
Her professional affiliations include leadership roles in the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. She is a director on the DAYL board and serves as the board liaison to the Judiciary Committee and Barristers for Babies. Before serving on the DAYL board, Ms. Bandy was a trustee of the DAYL Foundation. “We are thrilled to have Katie join our team,” said Intellectual Property Chair, Darin Klemchuk. “Her litigation experience adds depth to our practice, and her presence will fortify the litigation services we offer our clients.”
