Carsick Cars Touring in Europe

Carsick Cars and GigDiving team up to provide fans with opportunities to bring the band to their city in Europe. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) March 27, 2015 - This time around Carsick Car is not following Sonic Youth like in 2007, they are delighted to announce a European tour for June 2015, but with no location pre-defined. After their kick off show for MIDEM in Cannes on June 6th, Carsick Cars are letting their fans decide which cities they play through a crowdfunding exercise in partnership with Gigdiving.

Carsick Cars and Gigdiving are really excited to be partnering together on this innovative way of connecting with their fans. Gigdiving uses innovative way for fans to get involved and persuade where bands should tour. It is the most direct way to connect fans and artists and strengthen the bonds between them. There are currently 3 cities in the campaign list: Utrecht, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and with the feature of "Add your own city" to let fans tell Carsick Cars where to go. Carsick Cars will perform to fans in the selected cities that reach the pledge target. Once confirmed, we will inform the fans about the location and time. Fans from cities who do not reach the target in time will not be charged.
