October 17, 2007 - Chris Cammack, president of Carpenter, Cammack & Associates, Inc., has announced that Carole M. Hatem has been named area assistant vice president of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc.., an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm which acquired Carpenter, Cammack & Associates on June 27.
Hatem was a senior account manager with Carpenter, Cammack & Associates prior to the acquisition. Hatem’s extensive experience as a commercial insurance agent includes working as an account manager with Carpenter, Cammack & Associates and BB&T in Fayetteville as well as a customer service representative and an insurance underwriter. In her current position, Hatem is a service medium to large commercial accounts, trains new employees, sets up new market accounts and renews old ones, assists Cammack with appointments and manages the Fayetteville office. She has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1982 and is a Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) by the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW).
Hatem has been recognized as Insurance Woman of the Year by the Fayetteville Association of Insurance Professionals and won the state award from the N.C. Association of Insurance Women (NCAIW) for the Cystic Fibrosis Kiss Your Baby donation drive. She is active in Culbreth Memorial United Methodist Church and is secretary of United Methodist Women.
