Care Plus NJ is a northern New Jersey provider of recovery-focused mental health, substance abuse and family services that addresses the unique needs of individuals with a holistic approach to recovery and overall wellness. CarePlus Foundation of Paramus introduces three Northern New Jersey women - Julia Orlando, Mary Ann Uzzi, and Nancy Schuring - who are being honored at the May 29th Courage Awards Gala being held at the Venetian in Garfield.
Youth Mental Health First Aid training (YMHFA), designed to help identify risk factors and symptoms of mental illness in youth 12-18, is now available from Care Plus NJ, Inc., the only certified YMHFA trainers in the state of New Jersey.
SAMHSA awarded the 3-year grant to provide funds for Mental Health First Aid training for campus personnel and students, as well as develop and implement educational seminars and produce informational materials to increase suicide awareness.
